Sometime during my early high school years, I got a little point-and-shoot camera so I could take super cool myspace photos - duh. And what started out as a chance to capture memories with friends, turned out to be something I was actually pretty good at. By my sophomore year, Sophia Danielle Photography (though it went by a different name) was born!

Long story short, I went into full-time photography after graduation, loved it, hated it, took every kind of client that came my way, got a 9-5, got married, and simply... burnt out.

After years of living without photography, I took on a project with a friend (see Atlas Hands in my portfolio) and my love for this medium of art was reignited! I began to dream up what I could do as a photographer that would bring me passion, excitement, and joy. I quickly landed on this: I want to capture the magic of womanhood. I want to spend my days hearing the stories that shape us, capturing the moments that change us, and showing the world the incredible things that can come from it all. I hope you are the next story I get to tell!

I love: my husband, my pups, Jesus and His people, traveling, Gilmore Girls, Jonas Brothers, trying new foods, the ocean, Christmas, and a reallyyy crispy Coke Zero on a hot day...
